We are looking for a Junior Product Owner with a strong interest or background in product or project management, regardless of formal education or years of experience.

At Flymya, our product includes:

  • Customer-facing travel platforms such as our website and mobile app, which allow users to make travel related bookings, e.g. flights, hotel, bus and many more.

  • Internal tools and systems that support our Customer Support and Operations teams in delivering smooth and efficient travel services.

This role is ideal for someone who’s organized, proactive, communicates clearly, and has hands-on experience managing tasks, people, or workflows. You’ll work with a cross-functional team across development, design, operations, and business units to help define, plan, and deliver improvements to our travel booking platforms. These improvements aim to enhance the experience for both our end users (travelers) and internal users (Flymya team members who support travelers).

Job requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in gathering and documenting product requirements from stakeholders

  • Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Manager

  • Coordinate with developers and designers to ensure timely delivery of features

  • Track task progress and ensure deadlines are met

  • Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives

  • Clearly communicate project updates, timelines, and blockers

  • Monitor product performance and suggest improvements

  • Help ensure features meet the expected quality and business goals

Requirements:

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills

  • Strong interest or experience in project management (Agile/Scrum is a plus)

  • Clear and structured communication style

  • Basic understanding of how digital products are built (technical background is a plus but not required)

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong attention to detail and a proactive problem-solver

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering or related disciplines. Or demonstrable knowledge and experience obtained outside of formal education context. (e.g. personal projects etc)

  • Prior internship or work experience in a product, project, or operations management role

  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies

  • Familiarity with tools like Notion, Figma or Google Workspace

Interview Test: Basic questionnaire and coding test will be part of the recruiting process
